keep texas, texas

Texas has been my home for 22 years. The state of Texas is changing rapidly with booming cities, new companies, and a large influx of millennials and out-of-staters. Cities like Dallas, Austin, and Houston are now modern metropolitan cities offering a diverse culture, arts, and entertainment. However, if you travel outside of these cities, you will find traditional Texas towns, accompanied by old-timers who have stories to tell. Ranchers, cowboys, and outdoorsmen who know the meaning of hard work and a simpler way of life. Highlighting the uniqueness and sharing Texas traditions and history is a story that needs to be told. Here’s to keeping Texas, Texas.

This photo series will highlight Texans, what the state means to them, and stories from what it was like growing up in the Lone Star State.
